UISIL Volunteering promotes the academic and personal development of university students through their participation in creative, ethical, and committed social interventions. These experiences are intended to stimulate reflection, learning, and attention to the diverse needs of Costa Rican society in order to generate a positive and transformative impact.

VOLUNTEERS TYPES
MODALITIES
Virtual or online: This allows volunteers to collaborate through the Internet and digital platforms. They can participate in tasks such as translation, graphic design, and online advice, among others.
International: Involves volunteers working on projects outside their country of origin, either short-term or long-term, in collaboration with international or local organizations.
Specific Skills: Volunteers contribute their particular knowledge and skills in fields such as medicine, engineering, education, and technology, among others.
Community: Volunteers focus on projects that directly benefit their local community or neighborhood.
Formative: It focuses on acquiring basic skills to get involved in the objectives established during the volunteer days (talks, conferences, training, etc.).
Recreational: Activities for integration and contact between students and associated organizations during the volunteer day (walks, guided tours, games, etc.)
